I find myself wondering if I am too happy to write. I used to write all the time in high school and college, back when I was miserable. Dark and twisty and amazing stuff. Now I live this relatively safe and boring life, and have nothing to write about. Well not nothing, but only enough for a blog. It's a weird place to be in.

Shay I feel the same way. I wrote a lot of dark, depressing, stuff in high school. I did pretty well with it too. And now I start writing and I am not sure it's any good because I'm not used to writing the good stuff. Most of the time I ramble.
I enjoy what you write. Don't give up. You just need to spend time doing it. Any relationship needs to be cultivated ;)
I think that happens to most of it. The younger years are filled with hopes, dreams, worries, fears, anxiety, drama - all make for great writing.
Now that we're older, so many of those dreams have been fulfilled, fears have diminished, and there's just no space for drama!
Or it could simply be: Good girls write in their journals. Bad girls don't have time.
